What are your transportation options?

The purpose of this assignment
is for you to use the information that you’ve acquired during the course to
demonstrate that you’ve integrated the knowledge and skills needed to
effectively work as an aging specialist.
Develop your own optimal aging
plan by imagining and presenting a snapshot of your future life as an older
adult. Use the questions below as a guide and provide additional information as
necessary. This assignment consists of two parts.
Final Assignment Part 1: Imagining
Your Life as an Older Adult
What would you want to be doing
(e.g., working, retired, etc.)?
What are your daily activities?
Where would you live?
How would you manage your
finances?
What are your transportation
options?
Would you use technology? If so,
what kind of technology and how would you use it?
Include in your paper answers
to these questions using the hypothetical scenario in letter “A”, that is,
imagining your life as a healthy aging adult. Please also include any two of
the other scenarios such as becoming an older adult with caregiving
responsibilities or without a support system.

difficulties and/or

health issues.
Final Assignment Part 2: The
Social Worker’s Role with Older Adults
In part two of your paper,
using the same scenarios that you selected from letters “B” through “F,” and
explain your role as a social worker. For example, if you are working with an
older adult who has chronic pain and/or mental health issues or financial
challenges, or is living without a support system what are some of the
challenges? What would you suggest to your clients in order to enhance their
quality of life?
Use class notes, readings,
research and applicable sources to support your ideas. Use APA citations. Your
paper should be between 6-10 pages, double-spaced. Be creative!
