Reflect once again on your hypothetical program. Assume that even though it is a new program that has now been operating for a few months, it is part of a much larger agency that has been in existence for30 years. What challenges do you think this new pro-gram, and other programs and administration of the agency, may be facing in order to stay vibrant and current with changes in the environment and best practices in the field? Given your experiences with similar agencies, if this agency completed a manage-mint audit such as the one in the Appendix, what opportunities for improvement may become evident? What development, growth, or training activities may be helpful to the organization?
