communicant. One way to effectively communicate your message is through PowerPoint. The
main purpose of a Lay Counseling PowerPoint Presentation Assignment is to inform and

researched. This research needs to be presented in a manner that will inform and persuade people

You have just been hired as an associate pastor at First Church. At your first staff meeting the
senior pastor delegates the responsibility of developing a lay counseling ministry to you because
the church offers no counseling at this time. The church is a multi-ethnic, multigenerational,
nondenominational church where 500 people attend each week. The church is experiencing large
numeric growth and counseling needs have skyrocketed recently.
Using at least 10 scholarly sources (use the Jerry Falwell Library portal linked in the Lay

 Avoid using direct quotes within the presentation. Instead, paraphrase into your own
words with citations. Bullet point format may be used.
Each slide should include:
