The student will design and implement a guided reading lesson with a group of emergent readers, beginning or transitional readers, and advanced readers. Include specifics for diverse learners, particularly those identified as having Dyslexia. This assignment is intended to be based on lab time experiences.
Use the Jan Richardson Lesson Plan provided or a lesson plan of your choosing to work with a small group of students on their Instructional reading level. Afterwards, write a reflection using the following questions:
What did you do to prepare before the lesson?
What would you do for the students that are diverse learners, particularly identified as having Dyslexia.
Reflect on how the lesson went. Include next steps and what you would do differently, etc.
