What discourse and action would best suit the topic and your audience throughout your convincing argument?

Main Concentration: Build your argument by weaving ideas and sources from one
paragraph to the next; this does not and should not be done serially
(weaving every idea and source more than once and
consistently throughout). But, it should be noticeable throughout your paper
that your argument is getting stronger as it is
being built upon itself. Sources will be your most important ally when
constructing the argument for this paper.

Guidelines: First, Second, or Third person point-of-view. Five secondary/primary sources minimum. 1250 word length. Typed, double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font, one-
inch margins. Format paper according to MLA style.

Audience: While you, in fact, are addressing, mainly, me (your
professor) throughout this paper, pretend that you are
addressing the general public. How do you want to inform the general public on your
issue? Throughout this course, you have developed a tone.
How do you want to approach your tone and voice in this
paper? What discourse and action would best suit the
topic and your audience throughout your convincing
argument? Should your tone and voice be funny, serious,
sarcastic, detached, etc.? It is up to you what tone this
essay utilizes.
