Review each component of the Alignment and Measurement Model (pp. 172 – 175) as well as the questions on p. 168 (in Robinson et al., 2015) that reflect the essential information that clients/organizational leaders want to know about the impact for HRD initiatives. It is time to plan how you are going to measure the results from your initiative/s.

2. Answer each question relying on your expectations (predictions) for the results that your planned intervention should produce.

What do you anticipate to change in the organization as a result of the solution(s) implemented?
What impact, if any, may the initiative have on business results?
Will this initiative be a good investment for the organization? Do you anticipate that there will be a payoff? If yes, what do you anticipate the payoff to be?
What key intangible measures do you anticipate your initiative may drive?
What do you anticipate as challenges or barriers to achieve the desired results through your intervention?
