What do you feel will change for you as a result of accomplishing this goal?

For this assignment you will be creating a learning contract for use in your winter practicum. You will use the template provided to create one goal in each of the five categories based on your sense of the skills and knowledge you feel you will require to assist you in developing your own “style” as a professional Social Service Worker. This will become your professional learning contract for practicum in 3rd semester.
Part 1: The Learning Contract
Review the Field Placement Learning Contract template provided and your Journals. Based on your reflections of your skill development and knowledge attained in the program to date and on the skills/knowledge areas you feel require more attention, create three new unique goals in any three of the five categories (Job Knowledge, Interpersonal, Self Awareness, Practice Skills, Integration of Knowledge and Practice) on your learning contract. These need to be complete goal statements along with strategies, resources, evidence and evaluation.
Part 2: Written Explanation of Learning Contract Goals
For each goal you have created, explain why you feel this is an important area for you to work on. Consider the following questions in your answer:
Has there been an experience that has helped you to discover that there is an important area of knowledge or a skill set that you would like to have?
Have you received feedback from your liaison or peers that has helped you to develop this goal?
What do you feel will change for you as a result of accomplishing this goal? How will it make you a more effective Social Service Worker? Will this be a focus of further learning for your career goals?
Part 3: Connection to Theory
Review the posted reading entitled “The Art and Science of Social (Service) Work” and the related class discussion. Using concrete examples, explain two (2) artistic components (from the reading) of your own style which you have recognized that you are developing AND

at least one (1) area of knowledge you have studied which have stood out for you so far in either your practicum experience or other aspects of your life. (FOR THIS PART, PLEASE WRITE ABOUT HARM REDUCTION.)
