As you have observed throughout the course, families, family structures, and family functions have evolved considerably throughout history. Many different family structures and familial functions are represented throughout different cultures and individual family situations all across the globe.
Given what you know of current trends, patterns, and ever-increasing inter-connectivity, what do you think families might look like in the year 2100? How might the functions of the family change or stay the same? How do you think ever-advancing, technological, and globalized social circumstances will affect the family dynamics and representations of the future?
