What, do you think, is the future of the world?

In our class we took a whirlwind tour of the world in which we live, from an interdisciplinary perspective of International Studies. We talked about what the major global issues are, and what the basic building blocks of the global society are. In the second part of the class, we took a regional perspective on global realities, discussing Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Asia and Africa. We also discussed (in the mid-term essays) your personal perspective on the world and its issues.
Given the above, please, answer the series of interconnected questions:
1) What, do you think, is the future of the world? Are you optimistic or pessimistic about it? How will it differ regionally (in the Americas, Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe)? What effect will the covid-19 crisis have on the world (please, see the two readings enclosed in the final reflection essay folio module and refer to them in your writing)?
2) How will this future affect you personally?
3) What piece of information that you learned in class (please, refer to the course material) was most relevant/striking to you and why?
