course theme (i.e., culture, diversity, sociocultural perspectives, social justice, etc.).
biography simply a story about yourself.it is an
advanced storytelling of yourself by mixing up your personal, professional, and the
academic stories. The following questions must be included when writing

o When is the first time you have experienced “cultural diversity” and/or
“discrimination” in your personal life? What impact did it have on you as
a person, parent, etc.?
o When is the first time you have experienced “cultural diversity” and/or
“discrimination” in your professional life? What impact did it have on you
as a professional teacher, researcher, etc.?
• Experiencing Societal Changes
o If you had a chance to live in a different cultural context than your
parents, what are the main differences? What consequences did you
experience due to those differences with your parents or other family
members? How do you think/feel about it?
o How is the current society and/or school culture different from your own
childhood? How do you think/feel about it?
