We all know that we basically can’t live without technology. However, what does that really mean? It will be super important to focus here as technology is a massive subject. Start by thinking about a specific type of technology and go from there.
It will be important approach this topic as scholars and use unbiased, academic research to support your claims.
Potential topics:
Technological literacy – what do we need to know to understand a certain type of technology? Are we making any assumptions about what people do or do not know? What about certain age groups?
How technology is/isn’t changing our writing – Is texting/im-ing/email impacting our writing? Is it making it better or worse?
News and social media – how reliable is the information we find on social media? What should we know before clicking that link? What does it say about someone when they post a certain article? How does social media impact our understanding of news and information?
Has it become more difficult to spot the difference between biased and unbiased information now that we have access to so much information online? Why is it important to focus on unbiased information? Do sources matter? What should we know about where we get our information?
these are all just suggestions and barely skim the surface of any of these potential topics. You are free to move in a direction that you find interesting. As this is an arguementative essay type paper it should explain and defend your ideas and topics in a reasonable, educated fashion by composing a thoughtful and convincing research paper.

Include an appropriate title centered on the first line.
Write in an academic/professional voice for an academic/professional audience, avoiding slang and casual language.
The use of the second-person perspective (“you”) is not appropriate or acceptable in this essay.
