Kings of Israel
This week’s assignment is in two parts. However, both parts are to be submitted on the same Word document.
Part 1
Many years after the return of the Israelites from Egypt, the people demanded that
they have a king just like the nations around them.
Create a list that includes the 3 kings of the United Kingdom, the kings of the Northern Kingdom, the kings of the Southern Kingdom, the captors for each of the divided kingdoms and the date of fall of each kingdom.
Part 2
In an APA formatted Word essay, discuss the following:
What caused each kingdom to fall?
Why did the Southern Kingdom last longer than the Northern Kingdom?
What does the fall of these two kingdoms have to say regarding the necessity for godly leadership?
Include at least four citations from the textbook and additional academic resource
and four citations to Scripture. You will have a minimum of eight citations in your
essay.
