Watch the video (link below) about Stephen Colbert and the Super PAC he created. This happened during the 2012 presidential campaign, so don’t worry about that aspect of it. Instead, focus on what he has to say about political money. Does money have too much impact on our political system? Do we all as citizens really have a voice in our political process? What, if any, changes need to be made? Be sure to fully explain your positions.
NOTE: I should clarify that when Colbert talks about political money not being limited, he is specifically referring to the Super PAC context. Campaign funds are strictly regulated, including limits on the amount that can be donated from a single source and requirements that funds can only be spent on legitimate campaign purposes.
