Introduction:
After completing the Unit 1 Assignment you should have some ideas for potential health goals to work on. Choose one of them you’d like to get more information on (does not have to be the SMART goal you wrote). Is it a fitness goal, maybe you want to find techniques/specific exercises? Is it a time management goal, maybe you’re looking for some life hacks to approach it? Maybe you want to stop smoking, and need to figure out how. Note: you can choose to carry out this goal in real life, but it’s not required. This is a thought exercise.

Using whichever goal you choose, answer the following questions:
What information are you needing to find? What goal are you focusing on?
Find 3 websites with relevant information. Two (2) should be examples of good quality information, and one (1) should have information you wouldn’t necessarily trust. For each:
List the page name and full URL web address
Assess the information PROVIDER: who is in charge of the website? Why are they providing the site? Would you be able to contact them with questions?
Assess the FUNDING: Where does the money to support this site come from? Does the site have advertisements? Are they labeled?
Assess the QUALITY: Where does the information on the site come from? How is content selected? Do experts review the information that goes on the site? Does the site avoid unbelievable or emotional claims? Is it up-to-date?
Assess the PRIVACY: Does the site ask for your personal information? Do they tell you how it will be used? Are you comfortable with how it will be used?
Would you refer a friend/family member to this website? Why or why not?
NOTE: You will probably not be able to answer all these questions for every website. Be sure to note when the information is unknown or missing.
