Review the sustainability reports of two multinational companies – do not use the companies from the textbook. (Include a .pdf version of your sustainability reports as an appendix.) Prepare a 5-6 page, double spaced paper answering the following questions:
What are the similarities and differences in the reports you reviewed?
What information do you think is critical to the stakeholders of the reports? Make sure you identify the stakeholders and the information that each stakeholder would find critical and why.
What information is included in the reports that you think could be left out, if anything, and why?
What else do you think should be included in the reports that is not included and why?
Do the reports state the “standards” that were used to prepare them?
Do the reports include an assurance report from an external party?
If you were the CEO of a company, would you include a sustainability report? Why or why not?
If you included a sustainability report, what would you include and why?
