9. Over the years prisons have been designed with stated reasons for the design. Most of these designs are still existent in the collection of prison architecture. Provide three examples of different prison architecture and what was the purpose of the design.

10. You will hear the term direct supervision and indirect supervision when discussing prisons. What is the definition of each? Has the understaffing of institutions currently occurring in most institutions impeded the process of direct supervision. If you agree what are some of the possible outcomes.
