7.You have been recently hired as a security manager for a large contract company. One of the goals that you have set is to reduce the high turnover rate of the staff at one of the locations. Based on information from the exit interviews, it is discovered that the motivational levels are quite low at this site due to the fact that the working conditions are not comfortable due to the fact that the staff have to perform foot patrols in environments that are “too hot,” “too cold” or “too loud.,” Departing staff have also reported that they feel “abandoned” and “alone” since nobody from the company ever drives out to see them. Based on this information, what can you do as a new manager to increase the motivational levels of these employees and indicate that you care about them?
