Part 1. Think about a text/letter critically and post your answers:
1. What is the main concept of English Colonization that you are to take away from this historical document/ letter?
2. What is the moral of the story from A Letter from an Indentured Servant in Virginia?
3. What aspects, facts/events of the Module4 reading (Chapter2. ETextbook) are being used to analyze this document? Post your references and in-text citations from American Perspectives: Readings in American History Vol. 1 Chapter 2
Part 2. “Create/post Your three (3) Historical Questions and Your Answers”, related to this topic.

WHY?
– It is a great way to get students thinking about the source inquisitively and end the reading of the source by thinking about where to go from here.
This is the starting point for further research projects using the source, and when combined with “evaluate usefulness” will put students well on their way to finding and evaluating a large number of sources for the purpose of formulating their own historical argument.
