. A dramaturg is essentially a specialist in dramatic analysis who serves as a bridge between the director and the text (Cohen&Sherman). You must connect the characters, time, and setting of the play to the social and political climate that was happening in the real world at that time. You will present everything from clothing and hairstyle to how a character’s personality may be attributed to the sign of the times. You have complete creative freedom as to how you would like to submit the presentation. Visual presentations are encouraged but not required.
