families transition to having a college student. Student affairs departments
exist to help students flourish at their higher education institution, and
families can play a pivotal role in enhancing a student’s ability to succeed.
More than that, student affairs professionals and the institution they
represent are trusted by families to care for their children as they transition
into adulthood and out of their homes.
