There is an essay template in the assignment drop box. It is a requirement to use that template. Leave all the headings in place and type your content for each section right into the template. While you will leave all the headings in place, go ahead and remove the instructions at the beginning of each section , (e.g., “In 200 words, respond to…”).
2) I attached a copy of the APA style guide as well as a document about how to cite the textbook, topic overviews, and the Bible. Be sure to use these to help you format the in-text citations, and the references. The librarians are available to help you format in-text citations and references, so if you get stuck you can always call the library. Note, we are using APA 7th for everything except citing the Bible; to cite the Bible, we are using APA 6th, so follow the directions I uploaded about citing the Bible instead of the following style guide to cite the Bible.
3) You need to use a minimum of four sources. Two of these must be course resources (textbook, topic overviews, the Bible). Two must be GCU library sources. You can use more than four sources if you wish, but all sources must be scholarly sources. I will not accept any sources from the Internet.
4) Be sure to document all content from sources with in-text citations and a reference page. Include either a DOI or a permalink in references for library sources so that I can click the link and view the source.
5) Cite content from sources whether that content is directly quoted, paraphrased, or summarized.
6) Avoid using direct quotes. Only use direct quotes if the original content is very poetic or very technical. Otherwise, paraphrase it in your own words. If you do quote something, be sure it is placed within quotation marks.
