What unique opportunities or challenges have you experienced throughout your high school career that have shaped who you are today?

I want my essay to be based on the below writeup, which is my passion music ,on the topic of the essay mentioned above.

I would never have thought that music would play such an important role in helping me find my identity. When my fingers first made impact on my first keyboard, a rusty pre-owned YAMAHA that I ordered impulsively on Ebay, I didn’t comprehend that the purchase mightve been the most significant decision I would go on to make in my childhood. I remember nights where I imagined myself playing the piano along with my favorite singers and bands; I would wonder how amazing it would feel to play live on stage in front of millions. Of course, I kept my ambition a secret; thats what elementary kids do when they have a silly dream and dont want to be bullied in the hallways. Although I hid my ambition, I never forgot about it and nowadays, Im proud of how my ambitions of becoming a successful recording artist define me.
I discovered my love of performing after I played live for the first time in 4th grade. After years of experiencing various kinds of music, I felt the urge to make my own art. To pursue my newfound ambition, I would perform covers of well known songs; just me and my slightly-out-of-tune keyboard. However, my insecurities grew as certain people mocked me for my performances to the point where I gave up performing for a couple of years. Part of me always felt that the people who had harassed me were to be pitied; they would only ever hear the sounds, whereas I would experience the art [through my compositions]. Due to the constant bullying I would face in my small town, My keyboard soon became my escape; a place where nobody could poke fun at me simply because they didnt resonate with my hobby the way I did. Composing music
made me feel complete, as if a missing puzzle piece had finally clicked. In middle school, I decided to take up singing as well, and would spend hours tuning my vocals. However, my greatest adversary was my anxiety; the introvert in me was traumatized by the very idea of failing in public. Thus, I had tucked singing away as my guilty pleasure, enabling my anxiety to define me.
As I entered High School, I found true friends who had supported me through everything; only then did I find the courage to release my first original song. I was surprised when I learned how well received the song was, and I still remember how it felt to have my anxiety melt away piece by piece. Yes, I was still criticized by a handful of people, but for the first time in my career, I didnt let criticism define me. Nowadays, I create music professionally and have a small devoted fanbase. I look forward to expanding on my small success by pursuing a career in sound production and composition. Music has always been an important part of my life; I think I find it so significant due to it being the only thing in my life that I felt I truly had control over. I find peace in the fact that I let my talent define me, rather than have my insecurities take control of me and my future.
