Include BOTH in-text citations AND a reference list in APA format. Write in your own words (paraphrasing) and do not rely on “block quotes” (large quotations that are 3 lines of text or longer).

For each reference, you also need at least one in-text citation. Providing a long list of references with no in-text citations doesn’t clarify HOW the reference informed what YOU wrote. If you are new to in-text citations, this short video (less than 5 minutes) explains how to use this.
