Fun with Foil
This exercise is intended to be fun and productive, so don’t stress and try to enjoy it. 😉
Make something from a sheet of aluminum foil. Try to make something fairly simple and recognizable. Next, write a set of instructions detailing the process you completed. Your instructions should be exclusively verbal, in other words, no graphics allowed. Post your completed instructions here as a text file by the due date. Name your file foilyourlastname and include an appropriate three character extension for your file type (.doc, .docx, .rtf, .txt, or .pdf).
Hints:
Take some time at the beginning of your instructions to orient your audience: How large a foil sheet will they need? How should the sheet be positioned? How much time will it take?
Think about vocabulary: What verb form should your instructions employ? How formal/informal should they be? What tone should you use?
Carefully consider how much each step should include.
