REFLECTIVE ESSAY
Write a reflective essay. You can use first person pronouns such as I, my, me since you are writing about your own writing experiences. In your essay, try to respond to the following points.
what you now understand about effective writing and how it is achieved (like how you have to think carefully about your topic and research your topic to find out information about it and how the thesis statement is so important and how the body paragraphs have to support that thesis)
what the essays you wrote for this course reveal about your writing and your abilities to think on paper (I wrote essays teaching classmates about how to maintain sobriety aka “sobriety for dummies”, pursuasive essay on budgeting, essay on using scientific novels for citing material)
what you now understand about writing and critical inquiry that the essays you wrote for this course might reveal
what the essays in your portfolio reveal about you as a writer and critical thinker
what challenges you continue to face as a writer and critical thinker such as the following 3 questions:
what was difficult for you?
in what ways have you gotten stronger in your writing skills and more confident in your writing?
what immediate goals have you set for yourself as you continue to develop as a writer and critical thinker
