What you think are the ethical and social implications of the objectification in the design you have chosen?

your assignment is to find one recent work of graphic design,)that you think utilizes an outward display of objectification (of any group, gender, etc.) to communicate a message or to sell a product. The exploitation of women used as sexual objects is probably the most common form of objectification in advertising, but is by no means the only source. You should make every effort to find and/or photograph your choice in the real world somewhere, in the city, on the subways, in the media, in your daily experience, or one
that you remember seeing.
Specific focus should also be placed on addressing the common visual themes/forms (there are many) of sexual objectification, particularly in the representation of women in advertising. You must be able to identify which themes/forms are being used in your choice, as illustrated and defined in the supplemental Sexual Objectification Guide, attached with this assignment on Blackboard. Students may not use the examples given in the Guide as their choice for this assignment.
Answer these questions:
Identify the themes/forms of objectification used, as listed in the Sexual Objectification Guide
What you think are the ethical and social implications of the objectification in the design you have chosen?
How do you feel about seeing objectification in advertising? Does it affect you or not? Discuss your opinions.
What is the difference between women or men (most frequently women) used in advertising as passive objects of the gaze of the opposite sex (or worse)… and women or men depicted as active, independent and sexually powerful? I.e., what is the difference between sexual objectification and sexual empowerment?
Are the people in your image choice objectified or empowered? Exploited, or using objectification for their own personal gain? Both? How do you define “power” or empowerment through the lens of objectification? Can you?
How does objectification within the popular media influence gender roles in society?
Attempt to answer the questions listed at the end of the Sexual Objectification Guide.
I want you to discuss the work in your own words as much as possible. Work will be thoroughly checked for plagiarism.
