Select on of the countries in the week 6 activities folder. After searching the WHO Country Profile, WHO Global Health Observatory, your selected country’s Department/Ministry of Health website, and other resources you find helpful, address the following:
· Does the country’s health website appear up-to-date? Is it relatively easy to navigate?
· What are the leading causes of death for your country?
· Which infectious or communicable diseases are most prevalent in your country (do not include covid)?
· Are there governmental programs in place within the country to address these?
· What are the health priorities set by the government?
· What priorities and programs address child and adolescent health issues?
· Do the country’s governmental health priorities align with the priorities set by WHO for that country or the region the country is in?
· What priority recommendations would you make based on the available data/information? Which Infectious disease or NTD would you rank as the highest priority for eradication and why?
