Why are you a good match for the program?

I am applying to Georgetown University-Post Bachelor Pre Medical and I need to state why I am a good
match for their program.

Background: I am currently studying at a 4-year college with a major in accounting. I have been a medical
assistant in the pediatric unit for six years. As a medical assistant for 6 years on the pediatric unit, I was tasked with helping the doctors and nurses care for a variety of ailments including infectious diseases in
children. I am the first person in my immediate family to graduate from college. I am a diligent and
persistent worker.

Prospective Students

I like the University because of its flexibility to finish the program at my individualized pace. Especially a
non-science major like myself that will need guidance with medical school admission. Access to
clinical activities like Project Sunshine provides free educational, recreational, and social programs to
children facing medical challenges and their families. Since I have experience in the pediatric unit this will
be a good opportunity.
