Writing Assignment: First Draft of Paper 2
Context: Drafting is one of the most important steps in the writing process. A draft solidifies and clarifies one’s ideas and argument, revealing their strengths and weaknesses. Drafting also allows others to review your work in progress, helping you to strengthen and advance your argument. Nearly all writers must first draft in order to produce their best work.
Directions: Complete the first draft of Paper 2. (See the assignment sheet for the assignment’s specifics.)
Assessment: For maximum points, submit at least a 5-Page draft. The paper should be be double-spaced, in 12 pt. font. Remember, the more complete of a draft that you submit, the better comments I can provide you with.
