Think of a controversial issue facing Americans today; you might choose something like immigration, gun control, same-sex marriage, etc.

acknowledge the opposing side of the argument fairly;

create cohesion and unity between ideas;
integrate evidence from sources smoothly, avoiding plagiarism;
