(8) Final Paper
To show your understanding of the course concepts, write a final paper on an issue related to international economics. The paper must consist of a minimum of ten pages, including the title page, body, and bibliography. As a graduate student, you are required to incorporate your own thoughts, insights and opinions on the topic you are researching. Topics may be chosen from the text, financial newspapers and journals, or other sources, and must be relevant to international economics or finance. The following are sample topics for the research paper:
Will the euro potentially become the leading international currency?
Your paper must be typed and double-spaced, properly researched, and annotated. You should have a minimum of five sources. A citation is required each time an original source is paraphrased or quoted verbatim.
