During the second half of the course, we will discuss how European Industrialism and Imperialism evolved out of the Revolutionary Era, which in turn led to conflict in the Twentieth Century. Considering the various topics and texts discussed, write a well-developed essay response to the following prompt –
Support, Argue, or Modify the following quote using historical analysis:
“One must regard these 30 years of strife, turmoil and suffering in Europe as part of one story … One story of a 30 years’ war.”

This essay should follow standard academic formatting (TNR, 12-point font, 1 inch margins, double spaced) with facts and details provided using proper citations (MLA). There is no minimum to the number of texts you may reference, but you are encouraged to rely on that which has been provided to you in class. Your essay should be at least 4 pages in length, but should not exceed 6 pages total.
This essay will be graded using the attached rubric. This essay will be due by the end of the day on Monday, December 13th, 2021. The grade scale with the attached rubric will be as follows:
