Women throughout Dance History

I need a 1000 word reserch paper on a topic in dance history. I wanted to discuss how the dance world empowered
women throughout history, being an opportunity for women to create art and achieve success. The dance world,
specifically ballet gets a lot of heat for not having enough women in higher positions (i.e. female choreographers, female artisict directors), however I feel if you look at society’s norms at a specific point in specific time periods, you will begin to notice a trend of the dance world giving more power and opportunity to women than what was accepted as normal at the their respective times.
