Write a discussion paper on Digital Media on Wikipedia.Wikipedia is a place of contested facts and ideas about the world, seen most clearly in the “Edit Wars” over defining Taiwan. To participate in these edit wars, you should edit a Wikipedia page of your choosing by adding some new information designed to change perceptions of the topic as significantly as you can. It’s easier than you think:
Find a suitable Wikipedia page (Use Fashion, Television or Movie) and click the onscreen “edit” link.
At the prompt, you can create an editor account very easily (it doesn’t even need an email address!)
Once you’re logged in, click the “Visual” option – this makes it very easy to edit, like a Word document.
Write a new sentence or two in the article (e.g. adding new information or new details about the topic).
Add a citation to the end of each new sentence (click the option at the top) –you just paste in a web address of an article you found that supports your extra information, and click for Wikipedia to generate the formatting for you.
Finally, you then click “Publish” option, follow the simple instructions, and you’re done!
