Write a reflection essay where you describe what you’ve learned about writing and yourself as a writer this semester. Write this essay as a letter to a future student about to take their first college writing class. Give them advise for how to practice different techniques to make writing an enjoyable process.

1. Write a focused and organized essay in support of your main idea.
2. Use specific examples to support your idea and analyze the meaning of those examples.
Read Anne Lamott’s chapters titled “Short assignment” and “Shitty first drafts” in her book Bird by Bird. Be sure to refer to Anne Lamott at least once by using a quote in the body of your essay.
