OVERVIEW
You have been mandated by my company, Konasko Inc., to provide research, insight and advice on one of three organizational challenges we are currently facing.
I expect you to research and synthesize information from primary research articles as well as other reliable sources that address the issue of your choice. You must use your findings to develop at least 5 specific recommendations/strategies for my company to implement.
My company has experienced 3 years of steady growth and we recently hired our 12th employee. We expect that by the end of the year we will have completed nearly twice as many projects as last year. This steady growth is exciting and rewarding but there are consequences related to our success.
I am concerned about what I have been seeing in three specific areas; I need your immediate assistance by providing me with recommendations for how best to manage any one of the following issues:
EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION
The team was much easier to motivate when it was a small intimate group. Despite our recent success, we are not yet in a strong enough financial position to be able to pay significantly higher salaries; however, our current salary structure is on par with our competitors. I need to think of new (non-financial) ways of keeping my team motivated.

The credibility of your recommendations will depend on the reliability, validity and quality of the information used to generate those recommendations. In order to facilitate the generation of sound recommendations, this project requires each group to use numerous sources and it places some constraints on information quality by requiring that a sufficient number of sources are from scientific journals.
Requirements :
The report should include information from research literature as well as reliable secondary sources related to your OB topic. The report must also offer concrete advice in the form of a top 5 list of suggestions based on your assessment of the literature. The report should introduce its main topic and clearly summarize information from relevant sources and it should integrate that information for the reader. Further, the report should be able to stand alone as a document that does not require the reader to refer to additional sources in order for it to make sense. Thus, concepts and theories should be explained, and it should not be assumed that the reader is familiar with OB.
