Abstract
Agile project
management is an approach that uses an agile model for discovering requirements
and developing the solution collaboratively with users. Compared to the
traditional waterfall model, agile offers significant benefits to organizations
by reducing the time spent on planning and more on development and feedback.
While the change from the traditional to agile model is beneficial for the
organization, the change does not come without challenges. The major challenge
organizations must overcome is to change the mindset of employees. Employees
are often resistant to change and organizations must overcome this challenge to
change employees’ perspectives and manage the changes taking place. To overcome
this challenge, organizations need to implement proper training on Agile
Technology. This paper will propose how organizations can implement adequate
training models to overcome this challenge and implement Mendix as a tool to
track training progression.
