1) Briefly explain how the meditator who imposed a strategy of radical doubt in Meditation #1 breaks through the doubt on two key points. (BIG clue: “I think, therefore, I am.”—Descartes said it, but not in this specific work. Still, the ideais here.)

2) Descartes isn’t just trying to tell you about his meditations; he isleading you through those same thoughts, intending for you to be the meditator as much as he is. As you complete Meditation #2, are you any more certain that your body is the way it appears to be than you were in Meditation #1? Why or why not?
