Write a reflective essay on your journey
through the Continuing Professional Studies (CPS) program.
Each student is required to write a
3-page reflective essay discussing their experience in the accelerated
program and how it will assist them in the future with achieving the following
goals:
Understand and value cultural and
ethnic diversity in the community at work and in the global marketplace
Apply an understanding of how to be
an ethical, responsible citizen and leader in personal, professional, and civic
communities.
Be self-directed lifelong learners
who anticipate future directions in your profession
When considering what to write, refer
to these leading questions:
How are you able to reflect on
academic and life experiences, and how do you expect to use those experiences as
a foundation for expanded knowledge, growth, and maturity over time?
What have you done to show you are
able to apply ethical perspectives and concepts to an ethical question
accurately, and demonstrate your ability to consider the full implications of that
application
How do you demonstrate your
understanding of cultural differences and the importance of respecting those
differences?
