Write a report and create a poster/presentation/visual summary of your findings.
PROJECT DETAILS
1) Proposal
Before you begin your project, you will submit a proposal. The proposal must be approved before moving forward with your project.
What should the proposal include?
· Describe your experiment in detail. Who is your population? How will you obtain your sample (minimum sample size = 25)?
· Include a copy of your survey question(s) as well as how you plan to survey your sample (are you mailing it, calling people, asking them online, etc.).
· Explain how you plan to create bias.
2) Written Report
Once your proposal has been approved, you may begin your experiment. Upon conclusion of your experiment, you will write a written report to share your findings.
What should the report include? Each section must be included and clearly labeled.
· Introduction: What form of response bias were you investigating? Why did you choose the topic you chose?
· Methodology: Describe, in detail, how you conducted your experiment. Explain why you think you design was effective/good.
· Results: Display your data in both tables and graphs in a way that allows the reader to easily draw conclusions. Remember to label!
· Conclusion: What conclusion(s) can be drawn from your experiment? What problems did you encounter? If you were to repeat your experiment, is there anything you would do differently? Why?
3) Presentation
You may create a poster, PowerPoint, Prezi, etc. to summarize your project. Your presentation should include pictures/tables/graphs as well as a summary of your experiment and conclusion.
