Write a short essay analyzing how the social support to LGTB+ rights (acceptance, marriage, adoption) has widely increased worldwide over the past three decades (from the 90s onwards) but at the same time, it needs to point out too how some countries (Turkey, Brasil, Poland, Russia, for instance) have gone backwards and or have gotten more harsh against LGBT+ rights. The paper is meant to show that in spite of groeing social support, there are still some governments who want to limit or erase LGTB+ rights. It must also be noted that most of this countries’ governments seem to be rejecting LGTB+ rights as a way to fight back Western culture and set a difference between them and the so-called progressive and liberal Western values,mainly from US and Europe.
