Write a short story in one of the classic modes that we have discussed: classical detective fiction, locked-room mystery, hard-boiled detective fiction, cozy mysteries, etc. In this story, your fictional (FICTIONAL!) crime/murder victim will be Dr. Goss. Using one of the classic modes, write a mystery story that lays out the case.
In addition to the creative text, this assignment will include a 2-page reflection that details the choices you made, in terms of both form and content. What mode did you choose, and what did you need to make sure to include for a text in that mode?
