Write a sustained analysis based off the thesis you decided upon for your annotated bibliography. If you would like to change your thesis, you may do so, but you must discuss it with me over a Teams conversation beforehand.
Your introduction needs to include all of the following:
An attention grabber that leads into your thesis
A thesis statement that tells your reader what your essay intends to analyze/argue
Important information regarding the movie under analysis: title of film, director of film, film release date, any important awards won or nominated for, main stars
Why are we discussing this film? Why is it important?
This introduction is a part of student example document as well.
You will use only 5 outside sources in your analysis essay, and 3 of those 5 sources need to come from peer reviewed academic journals.
Your essay needs to be formatted in full MLA formatting.
Your rubric is the one attached to the back of your syllabus.
