Day 1 response: After you have read todays slideshow and sections one and two of Evicted and an interview with Matthew Desmond:
Write about eviction as a reflexive (or circular) process. Desmond shows us that housing crises cause poverty AND poverty causes housing crises. Include observations from the links on homelessness and evictions in the pandemic. Does the pandemic case help you elaborate on circular causality? Illustrate your points with examples from the book. Be sure to include a puzzle (or question) and your provisional response. And dont forget to use a creative, thought provoking title.
