Posted within the online course are links to the homepages of many religious groups/denominations in the United States. This can be found on the Web Links tab in the online course. You are to use the following questions to investigate their website.
In a report format answer the following questions about the website:
What is the purpose of this web site? For example is the congregation using it for member information or to convert new followers? Or is the purpose for both?
What did you learn about the religious institution or organization from their web site? Give some examples.
What commentaries are made about society and/or current events?
What services are provided by the group? Are any of these services available directly online?
What is the mission of the group? Do they have a mission statement? If so, what does it mean?
Is this a liberal, conservative, or moderate religious group?
Are there any current posts on political topics in the website? If so, what are they?
