Write an annotated bibliography on John Doe
Doe, John G. John Doe’s Guide to Life: An Autobiography. New York: Made-up Press. 2020.
In his autobiography, John Doe talks about his life as an imaginary person. Doe recounts his life as an imaginary friend to a young boy, before being cruelly turned aside as the boy’s parents convinces him that John does not exist. John Doe then floats between odd jobs as a ghostwriter-for-hire before becoming the imaginary friend of a celebrated Hollywood starlet. Doe’s book provides source material and examples of the lives of imaginary friends and will help support my argument that Snuffleupagous deserves better billing than Elmo gets on Sesame Street.
