From talk radio to television shows, from popular magazines to Web blogs, ordinary citizens, political
figures, and entertainers express their opinion on a wide range of topics. Are these opinions
worthwhile? Does the expression of such opinions foster democratic value?
Write an essay in which you take a position on the value of such public statements of opinion,
supporting your view with appropriate evidence.
The below is what I written. I want the essay to be about covid 19 vaccine.
The value of public statements of opinion varies according to the value assigned by the person hearing the opinion; however, all opinions have value, even if not equal worth. They are valuable because for the government to function, every voice must be heard – allowed to speak – because hearing every voice is how the majority is found and allowing every voice to be heard is one of the government’s central tenants. Our body, our decision: Control and ownership of your own body, as demonstrated by receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
The present COVID-19 epidemic has harmed us all. In the beginning of Covid, employers were requiring their employees to be vaccinated or they’re employment status would change. Many people are against taking the vaccine due to parental refusal, religious beliefs, and safety concerns. Getting vaccinated allows people to protect themselves while also avoiding the spread of preventable diseases to others in their community. Some people are unable to receive certain vaccines because they are too young or too old, have a weakened immune system, or have another serious health conditions.
When people lack self-government and control over their own bodies, it is difficult to imagine celebrating Human Rights Day. All New York City employees who were fired for failing to be vaccinated were ordered by the state Supreme Court to be reinstated with back pay.
Upon the conclusion of the vaccine mandate, it was discovered that humans in society were used as guinea pigs. Statistics show that the vaccine did not prevent people from becoming infected with the virus, but it allegedly preserved life over death. Initially, it was not clinically tested, as society assumed, and was created for experimental purposes.
