Write an essay on the role of coordinator, which is defined as being able to pull differing ideas together by being able to show a relationship between them (Early, 2017). I appreciate contribution from each member and to foster a good relationship with team members, it is important to include powerful and relevant ideas from all members as this creates a sense of individual and team accomplishment.
A challenge I may face when running groups is making observations. Although I like the efficiency of groups, I imagine it may be somewhat challenging to take notes while facilitating a group. Additionally, a new group may begin at a lower level of group skills like a parallel group or a project group, which may present with incomplete activities or conflict between members. This challenge can be addressed with encouraging experimentation with different roles, set limits on disruptive behavior, and helping each member feel accepted, safe, and valued (Early, 2017).
