Your Critical Essay will answer ONE of the above questions. Your answer will be your Thesis statement. You will then use THREE arguments as the signposts to structure the Three Body Paragraphs of your essay.
Each Body Paragraph will employ a source argument or counter-argument from a writer other than yourself . Remember to clearly position yourself for or against the other writers and sources. Remember that a critical essay is usually when you write AGAINST someone else and show how your ideas are BETTER than theirs (eg. use source writers not to make your arguments for you: but to argue against*).
Try to use the SEXI method to develop your argument. State your proof. Explain it (define all the terms). Give an Example. Develop the Importance of the proof in supporting your argument. If you can think of a counterargument, this is the time to insert it here and answer for it.
