Teams of 2-3 people will collaborate to create a half-day PBIS Professional Development in Part 1.

Teams will work together on the assignment and submit the same PD along with individual, solo analysis and reflections in Part 2.

You are to develop a professional development presentation on PBIS for general educators and special educators. The assignment is divided into two parts.

PART 1: You will design a professional development for teachers. The plan will include an overview of the subject and information you are presenting, the value of why it is important, and at least 2 training lessons/activities. The overall presentation should be in Google slides Make sure all of your content is fully and easily accessible from your uploaded assignment.
PART 2: Your group will develop a separate, joint essay on when the PD can be delivered, who will receive it, and where it will happen. You’ll describe how, when, where and with whom you could present your professional development to faculty, staff or other relevant groups.

Specific Directions:
You are to prepare a half-day professional development session on PBIS for general and special educators as outlined above presented as a Google slide of 8-15 slides per person p Make sure your content is fully and easily accessible from your uploaded assignment with all the links working seamlessly for grading.
Part 1: Training Guidelines
Design a half day training for teachers on important aspects of PBIS.
Start with an agenda with time allocations for your half day PD.
Provide information to ground the teachers’ learning and professional development.
Share the benefit and value for them as teachers and for their students.
Include at least two activities that the teachers can participate in to strengthen or expand their learning and competencies. Activities should deepen content knowledge, practice skills, develop materials to use with their K-12 students, etc.
Provide clear and specific instructions for activities.
Include a List of References used to develop the training, written in APA 7 Style and/or where the teachers/audience can find additional information.
Make the presentation user-friendly by using bullet points instead of long sentences/paragraphs, interesting visuals, engaging videos, and interactive slides every few slides.
Part 2: Group Analysis of Presentation of PD
The second part will outline the future presentation of your PD. Your group will write a group 2-3 page analysis on how, when, where and to whom you could deliver a Presentation your PD. Describe how it would benefit other professionals and K-12 students.
Part 3: Individual Reflective Analyses of Collaborative Experience
Write an Individual Reflective Analysis (2-3 pages) that discusses the Collaborative Experience and lessons learned from working as a group. What worked and didn’t work? How did everyone fulfill their obligations? How can these insights help you in teaching your students to work in groups?
